Norr AI LLC ("Norr AI," "we," "us," or "our") provides AI-powered automation services to small and local businesses. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you interact with our website (norrai.co), our automation tools (tools.norrai.co), or when you receive communications through workflows we operate on behalf of our clients.

By using our services or submitting information through our forms, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Information you provide directly — name, email address, phone number, business name, and any other details you enter into our forms or tools.
  • Information provided by our clients — our clients (the businesses we work with) may submit your contact information through their workflows to facilitate communications such as appointment reminders, follow-ups, or service updates.
  • Usage data — basic information about how our website and tools are accessed, such as browser type and referring pages. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

How We Use Your Information

Information collected is used to:

  • Deliver the automation services our clients have configured on your behalf (appointment reminders, follow-up messages, quote delivery, service updates)
  • Respond to inquiries submitted through our website
  • Improve our tools and services
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes unrelated to the service you are receiving.

SMS Messaging

Norr AI operates SMS messaging workflows on behalf of our clients using Twilio. If you receive a text message through a Norr AI-powered workflow, the following applies:

Consent: Text messages are only sent to individuals who have provided explicit consent — either directly through a web form, a sign-in sheet, or an intake process operated by our client. By providing your phone number and checking the consent box where present, you agree to receive SMS messages from the relevant business.

Opt-out: You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. You may also reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-in keywords: To re-subscribe after opting out, reply START, JOIN, or YES to any message from the sending number.

SMS message frequency varies by workflow and the business sending the messages. Norr AI does not send unsolicited marketing texts. All messages are transactional or relationship-based communications configured by our clients.

Third-Party Services

Norr AI uses the following third-party services to operate our platform. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

  • Twilio — SMS and voice delivery. Your phone number is transmitted to Twilio to send messages. Twilio Privacy Policy
  • SendGrid (Twilio) — Email delivery. Your email address is transmitted to SendGrid to deliver email communications. SendGrid Privacy Policy
  • Anthropic (Claude API) — AI language model used to generate message content. Input data may include your name and relevant context. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models. Anthropic Privacy Policy
  • Neon (PostgreSQL) — Cloud database used to store workflow records, job data, and communication logs. Data is stored in the US East region. Neon Privacy Policy

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the services described in this policy, or as required by law. Workflow event logs are retained for a minimum of 12 months for audit and troubleshooting purposes. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. All data transmitted between our systems and third-party services uses HTTPS encryption. Access to our database is restricted and credential-protected.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your information with industry-standard practices.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
